Röhrensee Animal Park — Attraction in Bayreuth

First I must say that I do not agree with the fact of having animals kept in captivity. Not here, not anywhere unless it is for their own care and safety. That being said and ignoring the "animal" part (which kids love to visit)... This park is beautiful! The trees change according to each season and their changes provide you with a different feelings on each visit. The paved path is perfect for walking or running and the lake is fantastic, filled with curious ducks and with the chance of kayaking when the weather allows it. Around it, some metal chairs invite you to seat and read and the fixed tables are often seen with young people sharing a bite, or a drink. We visited this place with our dog! So dogs are allowed in this place. 🫶🏻 It has a lot of birds like 🦚peacock and different cranes and animals like deer and ram. The ram 🐏 is very friendly and wants to be petted! So a wonderful park if you’re looking to engage with animals. The park has a lot of beautiful trees and a muddy colored small lake. Nice place to visit. Enjoyable for kids and parents. Good for morning walks, sports, and other activities, not only in summer but also during other seasons. A special visit in spring allows one to see the baby ducklings and other newborn animals. The playground is under renovation, and new items have already been established. The kids will like it very much and would love to spend a lot of time playing and viewing the interesting animals from different regions around the world.
