👎 This gallery is a scam and fraud. The director of this gallery and this program, Annamarie Laber, harassed me mentally for a whole month of June 2019, during my entire stay in Berlin. Eventually, she physically attacked my partner. As proof of all the above, prominent site resartis, after two months of researching my attached 12-page application, removed this fraudulent program! I am not an isolated case and I am not the only artist who has experienced this worst possible treatment by Annamarie Laber. I ask every artist to contact me before deciding to stay in this gallery and this program. I am a professional artist who has won international awards, and that is exactly why I do not want any artist to go through this kind of treatment in Berlin. I will never forget how you mistreated me, I still feel the traces today. Res Artist decided to give me back the money you stole from me, you never did that. Shame on your name and what you do! I will put an entire 12 page proof of this to remain as a remainder,...
Read moreIn the fall of 2019, I had a wonderful experience here! I attended a three month self-directed artist residency and absolutely loved every minute of it! I specifically chose this residency for a few reasons. The location is in the heart of Berlin, exceptionally convenient surrounded by restaurants and grocery store all within a two minute walk, it accommodates both living and painting, and the space with white walls and nearly 20ft ceilings looked heavenly. Turns out it was the best fit for me! The director, Annemarie and her assistant Steffi are respectful, warm and accommodating. I appreciated working independently and collaborating with Annemarie and her team to prepare for a two person exhibition with one other local artist, Alex Schuck, to miraculously be reviewed in the Berliner Zeitung, January 7, 2020. The opening was a well-attended incredibly joyful event. Thank you for making my stay an experience of a lifetime that exceeded my imagination! I would love to return when travel...
