Taron — Attraction in Brühl

This rollercoaster is a veritable work of art. After riding it I was thrown into a flurry of overwhelming feeling, which spurred me to write a sonnet. It is titled:

The Lament of Taron

Beneath the shadowed sky of waning day, In Phantasialand, where echoes softly weep, Taron’s fierce heart begins its fervent play, Through twisted track where memories long sleep.

Oh, swiftest double launch of mortal ride, Your roar, a whisper lost on winds of time, Where fleeting joys and fears in tandem bide, And screams dissolve, like ghostly bells' faint chime.

Yet, in your speed, a haunting beauty lies, A dance of thrill ‘neath sorrow’s dark embrace, As riders' laughter mingles with their sighs, And fleeting moments fade without a trace.

Definitely in my top five coasters, it's beautiful, and the soundtrack adds a thrilling atmosphere. It's enchanting. The area is amazingly conceived. You can hear the second launch in the whole (absolutely stunning btw) area. The trains are just perfect and beautiful. The contrast between the red color of Japanese maple trees and the grey color of the "volcanic" stones is simply beautiful.

Taron and FLY made me want to come back to Phantasialand 2 months only after my first visit. I'm absolutely in love with those two. And some other rides and attractions are also very...

This coaster is the whole package, for any coaster enthusiast this is going to be in your top 10. The trains, the station, the incredible soundtrack, immersive theming, 2 awesome launches, so many elements and a smooth adrenaline packed ride!! 10 out of 10!! 2023 edit- we got to come back today and ride this beauty again.
