Beerwanderers — Attraction in Munich

Going on a beer hike with Rich was definitely one a highlight of our German holiday! He organize our trek along the Fünf Seidla Steig. All we had to do was show up at the Nuremberg train station ready to hike and drink some beer! If you're in the area and love beer, consider going on a Beerwander tour. We lucked out and had amazing weather. It was a wonderful experience being able to hike through the Franconia countryside stopping at some off the beaten path breweries to "hydrate". The hiking makes room for more beer. Trying new beers is motivation for more hiking. It's a nice pairing.

Rich was an amazing guide and delightful companion for the day. We learned all about the history of the breweries we visited and general German beer culture.

We couldn’t have found a more perfect guide for our tour than Rich. He truly has a passion for hospitality and service - and of course, beer. We were a group of 8, based in Nuremberg for the weekend. Rich coordinated the entire trip for us from start to finish, including booking train tickets in advance. It was seamless. We lucked out with the weather: not too hot - not too cold. My husband and I just spent an amazing day with Rich Carbonara, hiking through the Bamberg countryside and stopping at rural breweries along the way. My husband loves German beer and I love hiking so we booked the Bamberg Countryside tour with Rich for our August vacation in Bavaria.
