International Youth Library — Attraction in Munich

International Youth Library is a beautiful place with an amazing history. The staff there are incredible and spending a day reading picture books from around the world was a complete delight. Contact them well in advance of your trip if you plan on doing research while you are there.

I highly recommend this as a stop for those with children who love books or those who are children at heart and create books. Be sure to walk from the train station to enjoy slowing down and experiencing the stream that becomes the castle-library's moat.
