Reimlingen Gate — Attraction in Nördlingen

We enjoyed exploring this well maintained, beautiful and unique city located entirely inside of the crater formed by a meteor. Did some research and read that this place is surrounded by millions of diamonds (over 72,000 tons of 💎). Its walkable + can be explored on foot in just a day. We happened to be in a cafe nearby and this gate was the closest. There are 5 city gates. Take your time when strolling along the Historische Stadtmauer, it is 2.6 km long and free of charge. I was deliriously happy to wander and get lost in the maze of romantic cobblestone lanes and dotted red roof historic houses.
