The staff of the hotel is great and friendly, the location is probably one of the best in Nördlingen.

Unfortunately, I am quite disappointed by the lack of investment in renovating the furniture and facilities. Starting with the furniture, which is not vintage or cozy, is old and dark. And some things that usually wear over time haven't been replaced (i.e. The handle of the bath tube). In general the room gives a feel of darkness that invites you to get out of there asap, maybe that is good for enjoying the town outdoors...

Other disappointment comes with the breakfast, lack of variety, and mostly cheap products are used, nothing with certain elaboration was offered.

I am sure that the owners will work on these problems if they wants to remain competitive and attractive for the more modern...

Excellent location, in the city centre. The staff in the evening shift wasn’t friendly at all, when we were checking in, it wasn’t the best experience from a hotel chain like NH could offer, however the mext morning’s shift was auper friendly and helpful. The room was ok, a bit old fashioned for our style (on the pictures it looked better but didn’t feel the same in real life), the bathroom was clean, however you could notice that the place is quite old (discolored tiles, bathtub, etc.), view to the street, which was disturbing mostly in the morning due to the traffic. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Not sure if...

The Franciscan Monastery Nördlingen, also called Klösterle, is a former monastery of the Franciscan Observant in Nördlingen in Bavaria in the Diocese of Augsburg.

The convent dedicated to St. Nicholas, from 1279 to the Blessed Virgin Mary, was founded before 1243 by citizens of Nördlingen; it was dissolved in 1536 during the Reformation. The choir of the monastery church and the convent buildings were demolished, the nave of the church, however, was preserved and was used as a fire station and storage.
