Wöhrder Wiese mit herrlichem See. Wir sind vom Noricus rund um den See gelaufen. Ca. 8 km mit einer Pause am Teatro an der Satzungen Mühle. Hier hat die Stadt Nürnberg mit der Neugestaltung des Sees ein Erholungsgebiet mitten in Nürnberg geschaffen. An wenigen Stellen wird noch gearbeitet. Genügend Bänke säumen den Weg. Leider sind an den Stellen die zum Verweilen gedacht sind zuwenig und damit überquellende Abfalleimer vorhanden. Leider ziehen diese schönen Orte auch - wie immer - zweibeinige Schweine - an, welchen ihren Unrat einfach liegen lassen. Keine Erziehung ist eben auch eine Erziehung. Eine Abtrennung der Fuss- und Fahrrad Bereiche würde Sinn machen. Wir konnten aber ein gutes Miteinander mit Rücksichtnahme auf den anderen feststellen. Die Strecke ist in 1,5 Std locker zu laufen. Eine klare Empfehlung

Beautiful park in Nuremberg but at one point was one of the main sights for the Nazi Party Rallies. They have market the areas with photos and writing on where the rallies took place. The park has beautiful trees, grass and plenty of walk ways to jog or ride a bike.

Fantastic Openair classical music concert 21.7.19 - the music, soloists, the sparklers, the fireworks. Literally thousands of people. This picture is of the rehearsal the day before -well worth going to!! And all free!!! This was totally amazing!!!

We visited for two Open air concerts. Classic Open Air Family Concert. Classic Open Air-Dancing with the Philharmonic. Can't wait for next year. Always a treat. Wonder, spectacular, full of talented artist and musicians.

A relic of a long dead idea however was very interesting to see where Hitler once stood and had his rallies. Recommend doing a tour of the whole park it's pretty big with lots of historical info boards around.

I was there for the summer music festival. It has a huge lawn which can holds thousands of people. The music festival is hosted there twice every year in July and August. It is amazing, don't miss it
