This was a pretty cool place to visit while I was in Germany on duty.
The place is filled with walkers, bicyclers, and sun bathers, but not obnoxiously so - plenty of space to sit down and enjoy yourself. Beers are reportedly expensive, but I didn't think the beer was any pricier than anywhere else.
The water I was able to get into was cool and refreshing for the most part, though since it is freshwater, there is plenty of underwater flora to contend with. Over all, I was impressed with how separated you feel from the city when in this environment.
