Kolbensesselbahn — Attraction in Oberammergau

Super fun! We went with kids aged 4 and 6 and bought 3 rides - this will give you at least 4 hours of fun - potentially more as there’s several (free) activities on top. It was the first time for our kids going up a mountain by cable. The ride up takes about 18 minutes and is gorgeous and definitely “selfie”-worthy. On top there’s several activities for small kids: zip line, play castle, swings and other play activities. There’s a restaurant and toilets. We also walked on a trail in the forest before taking the alpine coaster down. We went on a day with a bit of rain which meant no waiting. However when the weather is good there can be a lot of waiting time (the day before we went we heard 2 hours of queue to get up!) It's fast food. But, the service was great. I even had an ordeal where I placed a large order and there were two individuals working out of my bag. I think one of the young ladies removed a portion of my order. I should have checked my bag when I received it but assuming they're the professionals. I immediately called not to complain but to inform my order was not fulfilled. The manager offered me two meal vouchers. But I came to pick it up so quick he even offered to fulfill my order that was left out in addition to the 2 vouchers. I declined the order fulfillment but to see that level of care and concern on customer service made me happy. I know how it is working on a base with very opinionated individuals uniform or not so I didnt want to cause any additional stress. Would I...

Attitude of the staffs need to be improved. There was a staff pushing us (with his hands) around in a very rough, just because we couldn't understand German and went to the wrong way due to misunderstanding. He could've show us the way out without the need to actually pushing us so hard all along until the exit. We didn't even stand in any spot near the chair lift or the coaster track. He even spoke in a very fierce manner after we realized our mistake and apologized to him. Will not visit this place again. I'm giving two stars because the ride was fun and enjoyable.
