Edit in response to PR team: we have been to many many and many aquariums all over the world. We DID take our time but it is extremely small and overcrowded with screaming children AND activities catered to children. This is NOT a good aquarium.
PLEASE DO BETTER
DO NOT GO TO THIS AQUARIUM.
This has to be the worst SeaLife I’ve ever been too. We paid €44 for 15 minutes. It was too crowded and too busy to see anything eventhough we had a timeslot.
This is just a children’s playground which you pay a lot for. We did not have a good time at all. Usually on vacation we visit aquariums to just relax and learn something new about animals. Instead we got screaming children everywhere. This place doesn’t even care for other costumers if they don’t have children. The basins look small and uninteresting. Everything looks old and eventhough the animals do not seem in any danger it doesn’t look like they enjoy their basin.
Even the terrace was not inviting: every chair was locked to a table.
I would have rather given my money to a good cause instead of this...

Sea Life Konstanz is amongst these attractions as more and more visitors are drawn to enjoy the spectacular 320.000 liters eight-meter-long underwater tunnel, 3500 fresh and saltwater fishes and the 35 lifelike pools with thematic areas such as Source of Rhine, Bodensee, Rotterdam, Red Sea, Rainforest and Antarctica (Jackass Penguins!); I was fascinated by the beauty of the giant green sea turtles Amadeus and Clementine elegantly floating over my head; Sea life is contributing to helping endangered species: breeding seahorses and Resettling turtles; Saving Ticket (13,10€ online/ 18,75€ on the spot), Express ticket (only online 18,75€); Nice weather independent trip w/ prices from Zurich: 16,50 CHF one way for 1h15 min - 1h39 min; I went on a cloudy winter Sunday afternoon and I bought the express ticket online; I could have bought the saving ticket as there was no...
Read moreOverall I enjoyed my visit, but there were a couple inconveniences that don't let me give it 5 stars.
I know maintaining such a place is a massive undertaking, but 20€ feels expensive. Had it been cheaper, I would visit it again sometime. The underwater tunnel wasn't optimally maintained, the glass is very, very scratched, and some parts had a layer of dirt/dust. The penguins were acting strange, stuck to the display glass. I felt sad for them, it was an anomalous behavior, and made obvious that they don't belong there.
On the good side, it was nicely decorated. The nature museum was a bit underwhelming, but I felt the passion put into the still animals, interacting with each other and their environment. Explore it thoroughly, my favorite part of it was hidden!
It took me slightly less than 1h30min to visit it alone. If you can afford it, I'd recommend checking it out...
