This is basically a large room with a divider separating the front and back; there is a a gift shop in the front and a much larger area in the back consisting of many tables with train and car displays having various German themes and geographic settings. Most of the displays have buttons to press that make vehicles or trains move, or carousels spin, or lights turn on, or dogs bark. One even had a lights show with a video screen to add to the effect. They are meticulously done with amazing detail and one could spend HOURS looking at all of the displays. I was there with my kids ages 6, 4, and 2, so I couldn't spend that much attention or time on the displays as I was too busy making sure they didn't break anything, but it was nonetheless very enjoyable for all of us. Of note, if you pay for tickets to the waterfall, your visit here is included and you wouldn't have to pay, though the cost is low anyway. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area and enjoy imagitive and creative...

It's included in a day's Triberg pass ticket. Worth a quick visit. You'd wish there were several floors minimum with a broader range of model sets with more imaginative and grander designs. But as a local Triberg-focused theme, this is pretty decent. It's a 20-minute location max, I would say.

No information boards explaining what you're looking at in each set, although much can be surmised already.

Don't buy a single ticket just for this attraction, buy a combination ticket and...

Beautiful landscape of Black Forest Region high in the mountains! Lots to see and do..the longest waterfall in Germany is here, a lot of walking to appreciate the area. Be sure to be wearing comfortable shoes. Cafes and restaurants and souvenir shops abound. The local delicatessen of Black Forest cake and bacon can be tasted here better than the other places!

A very cool attraction with railroad and transport models. Made with high quality. Its possible to push buttons to start the action or move of the train or cars. Entrance is free with a waterfall ticket. There is also a gift shop where you can take away for free catalogs with models. Highly recommended for visitors with kids.
