Highest Wasserfall in Germany, in Schwarzwald Area. Parking is in the nearby parking houses. For the entrance you pay at the gates with special prices for families. You can also combine the tickets with the wild birds and the Stadt museum. The place itself has 3 trails for a hike. The nature (green trail) is the longest and in non paves road. The yellow trail is for the waterfall and back. The red trail is to also visit the birds and see the other possible visits of Triberg. It can take you around an hour with pictures and all pauses. We chose to go around, keeping the green fences of the birdpark to our right. When climbing the road up, you come around a corner and see a hairpin corner coming up. DO NOT GO THERE: theres another booth asking you for 8 eu. Instead climb your way up through the little forest path, cutting off the corner.
There you go: a free waterfall visit.
P.s. it's forbidden in Germany to ask for money to visit public places like waterfalls, so don't feel...
