Update 2025
This year, Elia Beach really amazed me with the service and the changes compared to last year. The staff were not just friendlier; they were genuinely quick and attentive, making the whole experience so much smoother. Plus, the big difference: no more rigid reservations on the sunbeds. You can pick any spot you like without being told it’s for hotel guests only. Honestly, it felt way more relaxed and tourist-friendly this time around. —— 2024 Elia Beach is a stunning spot with amazing views, great food, and friendly tourists. The beach itself is fantastic, and it’s easy to see why it’s such a popular destination. However, I had a mixed experience with the beach’s management.
While the staff on the beach are generally friendly, it’s frustrating that 70% of the sunbeds are reserved for Elia Hotel guests, even early in the morning when the beach is mostly empty. I was more than willing to pay the €70 and spend money on food, yet I found myself limited to the remaining 30% of the beds, which is quite disappointing, especially when the majority of the reserved beds remain unoccupied.
Additionally, while most of the beach staff were nice, a few made me feel like I was being towed around until they decided where I should sit. It was a bit annoying, but I kept my patience to avoid spoiling my beach day.
Overall, while Elia Beach is beautiful, the experience could be improved by making more sunbeds available to all paying guests rather than reserving so many for...
Read moreBeautiful beach with crystal clear waters. €70 for 2 front row sun beds with an umbrella was fairly expensive, but well and truly worth it for the view and the relaxation we experienced. The western end of the beach past the pride flag is very nudist friendly, and generally people who aren’t into that crowd will stick to the eastern end of the beach closer to the bar. You will still get waited on by the lovely beach from hospitality staff, and amazing drinks and food will be brought directly to your sun bed regardless of your level of clothing. The crowd were very respectful of one another, but if you’re after a quieter more secluded nudist experience you can walk over or swim around the rocky area at the end of the beach to find another small cove. More people tend to be fully nude in this area, particularly men, so be aware of what to expect. Overall this was an awesome first Greek nude beach experience for us and we will definitely...

WARNING: Do not get confused with Elia Beach [shown as "Paralia Elia" in Google Maps in English as of August 2023]. Many reviews and pictures incorrectly refer to the beach club on the main Elia Beach. The "Elia NUDIST Beach", instead, is a little gay/nudist cove tucked away behind the rocks, to the right of the main beach.
It's completely free, there are no sun beds nor bathrooms. In fact, it is quite small (it could maybe fit 30–50 people), and it started to get crowded after noon.
As the name says, it is a nudist beach. So expected most people to NOT wear swimsuits.
Highly recommended! The waters are crystal clear, the view is enjoyable, the place is peaceful, away from the buzz and high prices of the...
