This hotel is an absolute dream and I would highly recommend! Not only is the property breathtaking, offering everything that you could ever think of making it extremely convenient (pool, beach, spa, free shuttle to town, several stores, hair salon, and barber shop) but the staff is quite honestly some of the best I have ever encountered in all of my travels. They are the heart and soul of this place and made our 4 night stay so enjoyable and memorable. ||This was my second trip to this hotel and was once again so pleased that I am already considering going back. I was traveling with 4 people this time around for my birthday and we had 3 rooms between us all. (The first time to this hotel was 3 years ago and I traveled with 6 guests that time and we had an amazing experience then too). ||From the day of check in the concierge reached out to us and arranged the transfer from the airport to the hotel before our planes even landed. The concierges (dark haired young man and a young woman with dirty blonde hair who I believe was named Salome) were absolutely excellent! They arranged any cabs we needed promptly, checked in with us on how we were doing, and made recommendations on excellent places to go and see on the island. ||Then there was the pool and restaurant staff who were likewise amazing. The two bartenders-- Alex and Jorge were top tier. They were always kind and professional and took time to make sure we were satisfied with our orders. ||Additionally Alex, Yannis, Niko and Maria from the pool and restaurant were wonderful. They were friendly and professional and also offered up suggestions on things to do and see on the island. They made us feel like family every time we went to the pool. ||For dinner--we partook in dinner at the pool restaurant one of the nights we stayed here as they have a traditional plate smashing dinner. They had live music which was incredible (Savvas was the singer and he was excellent). I would highly recommend staying at the hotel and going to the restaurant for dinner at least once during your stay because its a very unique and fun experience. ||Finally, there was the night bartender-- Stefano, who worked on the Terrance bar upstairs. Stefano has been there for some time and I recalled him from 3 summers past. I cannot say enough good things about Stefano. He was an absolute joy to speak with before we left the hotel and went out to our dinners. He was very funny and went above and beyond to make certain our drinks were excellent and tailored to what we wanted (even if we just wanted a mocktail). He even helped us take pictures and we will never forget his kindness. ||To this hotel, their managers, and staff-- thank you for your hospitality! We stayed there from 01/07/18 to 05/07/18. Once approaching the front desk we waited around 20minutes for the room to be ready. After 30minutes we went to the desk to ask when the room is ready they wanted to notify us, they mention it should be soon they will tell us. We kept waiting and nothing happened another 15minutes.. so we approached again. Then suddenly the room was ready so the lady walked with us to the room (554) which was itself very nice but the cleaning lady was still cleaning the room !? Everything was wet so we could not go into the room even the reception lady said it was ready.. wow that should not happen in a 5 star hotel at all. After 20 minutes of waiting outside in the sun the room was ready. Well they forgot to clean the jacuzzi, it was full of hair and other things inside, great. For 500$ a night you could expect a bit more service. Our room was the 2nd night without elictricity it always shutdown when pluggin in a charger.. so telling that the lobby they just said "its normal on this island sometimes we get cutoff its normal to have sometimes no electricity" first of all I wasnt statisfied with this answer. So the next day going to the room the key was not working, I thought its a joke because our room is at the top of the hotel. So we wen't back to the lobby to let them redo the keys.. nevermind that happens everywhere. But the electicity kept falling out so we went to the manager and told the things we are facing so he mentioned to move us to another room. Only the manager can do things there the normal staff is pretty much useless, don't even bother talking to them. At the end of our trip they charged more for the same room in the additional nights even they said they wont (I told them to let me know if its more), then at checkout they took very long time and needed to make a telephone to adjust the rate..so in the meantime the airportshuttle from the hotel wanted to drive off without us and our luggage, the airportshuttle guy thew mine and my girlfriends bags out of the car!! I just made it in the last second to tell him off and get in the bus.. we we're lucky my girlfriend told the driver im at the lobby doing the ckeckout, even then he threw the luggage out and was about to drive off..we were on time in the lobby and the checkout took longer then expected because of the hotels fault not ours!! Well everything else was OK. Nonetheless it offers great views and good...
