Overpriced, Unpleasant, and Not Worth It — Mykonos Disappointment

We visited this beach club in Mykonos, Greece, and it was a complete letdown. We had already paid a ridiculous amount per person just to get in — only to find out they also charge 70 euros just for a basic beach chair. Seriously? On top of that, the drinks were insanely overpriced — some of the most expensive we’ve ever seen — and definitely not worth it.

The staff didn’t make the experience any better. They were unfriendly, cold, and gave off the vibe that they couldn’t care less about the guests. For the price they charge, you’d expect at least some decent service, but no such luck.

To make matters worse, there were vendors constantly walking by trying to sell you things — every few minutes — even after saying "no thanks” multiple times. They just kept coming back and interrupting, which made it impossible to actually relax.

Overall, this felt like a complete tourist trap — overpriced, uncomfortable, and far from the luxury experience they pretend to offer. Definitely not worth the money...

Beautiful spot, with good facilities too!

The nearby cafe is very nice. They serve lovely coffee and cold water by the large bottle if you need it.

Theres good toilets there which everyone from the beach seems to be able to use with no issue.

The beach itself is lovely. Soft sands, barely any pebbles. There’s a couple of rocky outcrops in the middle and by the edges where you can get some shade if you’re lucky.

Beds are pricey, but sunbathing on your towel on the soft sand is free!

It’s a lovely beach…one of the best!

Good note: there’s a tap for feet washing down by the archway, just to the right of the Paralia Restaurant.

If this was helpful, give it a like so it can help others 😉...

This is for Elia Beach restaurant beach. Nice sandy beach. Very family friendly. €50 per set which includes 2 sun beds and 1 umbrella. No WiFi available at the beach area. You can pre-book the front row by emailing the resort and filling out a credit card form, however I discovered that the waves will wash over the front row sun beds at high tide as well as when the jet-ski boat is in operation which causes a wake, so best bet is to get a set on the second row. Restaurant menu is excellent with lots of healthy and vegetarian options. Service is very good.

Overall my favourite...

Our favourite beach on Mykonos, and we visited a few (Paradise, Super Paradise, Paraga, Agrari, Megali). Middle set of sunbeds (Elia Beach club) were the cheapest (30€ for both). Super chilled vibe, great service, blue sea, and white sand. And plenty of space for towels on the beach if you prefer. It doesn’t have the superficiality (and high prices) of Paradise/Super Paradise, which we preferred. We hired a car for two days to explore the beaches and we recommend that. Parking was not an issue, although the country roads made for an interesting journey… 🤣🙏

People perspective on the beach. I will break it down and you can choose how you like the beach. - Cleanliness: Very Clean - Crowd: Not crowded (Based on my observations in July) - Family Friendly: Yes - Nudity: Limited to one section of the beach - Food Availability: Limited - Accessibility: Will need a bus/transport to get there - Cost: Expensive for chairs - Space: Lots of space occupied by private resort Overall: I would come to this beach anytime with my family. My 8 year old daughter said that this was her best beach experience.
