Vathis volos beach — Attraction in Antiparos Municipality

After a delicious lunch, we were looking for a spot at the beach to rest for the afternoon. When we arrived there were no “free”umbrellas (even though there were actually some..) and we had to wait for some people to leave. In the meantime, we decided to leave our bags close to the club and have a dip in the sea. I returned to our bags as I did not want to catch a sunburn and placed myself on the floor next to the club. In the meantime even those seats under the club shelter became gree but none of the salesperson were interested in offering them to us. 10 minutes later they approached us, saying this is a private beach and we have to move away from the shade (as it is theirs) and go sit in the sun. Conclusion: we doubt this beach is private and the worst service on the whole island can...

The sun beds here seem to have gotten quite expensive (20€), but it is still a charming beach with a wonderful view of the Despotiko bay, two tavernas and one cafe nearby, and of course crystalline transparent water.
