Honestly this restaurant was the biggest dud of our entire trip. The service was shockingly slow by any standard (everyone received their food at different times and most of us waited more than 45 mins for our food to arrive). As the meal was wrapping up, we proactively ordered dessert (they never arrived) and then we ordered coffees a bit early hoping we would have more luck.
The bartender (who was on his phone texting the entire time) explained that we couldn't receive our coffee until our table had been 100% cleared. Our table of 8 people had been incredibly patient but, hearing this, we were all visibly surprised. His response? "That's how it works!"
Food = okay / mediocre (chicken arrived and then after we were half finished the mole and carrots - i.e. the other half of the dish - arrived) Service= ...
Read moreSuch a dreamy dinner we had with our group of 8 people. The atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant is absolutely perfect. One of the owners is an architect and she actually Designed all the furniture which is impressive. We all came from NYC for a week and we were so impressed by the food and cocktails. The staff has such good energy and we’re helpful. My fiancé is from Mexico and we agreed that the Mexican influences that are in many of the dishes were authentic and a perfect pairing. For us, most Places in Greece don’t have an amazing cocktail program, but everything we drank at Casa Fistiki was well balanced and flavorful. Thank you so much to the owners who took care of us like we were family. The ceviche, corn, and whole fish were some of our favorites. This is a must visito spot when you’re...
Read moreOk this wont be a bad review although our dinner was short of a parody! Apparently we booked a table the day after the chef left them and they were missing almost all the ingredients (avocado, tomatoes, tortillas, BREAD) ! The staff was super nice and they did their best yet the owner is quite a weirdo (even though I loved her dog) She actually told us that "they fell victims to their success". 🤟🏽 Despite the shortages the dishes that made it through were quite tasty and the cocktails amazing! I was surprised though by the fact that although they were even missing bread (& a friend of ours brought one from a local bakery) they only treated us with 2 (large) churros for the inconvenience.. we were a table of 14 😛. Hoping it was just a bad day! No hard feelings, +...
