The longer I stayed around Lourdata beach the more I liked it.
It is a long narrow beach and not as stunning as other beaches on Kefalonia as the water isn’t quite as clear (probably because it is more sandy) but there is a something very laid-back and traditional and trendy about the area and I appreciated it for this.

Read moreLourdas is a quaint coastal settlement located 16.7 km southeast of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. The settlement stands on the hillside overlooking the blue sea. It is quite popular for its well-organized beach where many visitors enjoy a refreshing swim, right after their arrival to the village. Right above lies a main road filled with restaurants, cafes, local shops and other modern amenities. The beach is easily accessed by public buses from Argostoli and other...
