My favorite place in Lourdata at the beach. Timmy, one of the owner's adult sons, is just one of the sweetest people in the restaurant business on Kefalonia. I have consistently had attentive service and lovely food and drinks. It is nice to sit a bit in the back in order to enjoy their blooming plants. I love the Blue Sea salad, all finely diced and cubed. So good! Parking right on the side of the building is very cool. I hope to see you all again soon. Be well until then!

Visited The Blue Sea many times over the past 12 years and still our family favourite. The team working at the taverna work very hard to make you feel welcome and succeed with every visit. Food is excellent fare but more than anything, the view from the tables of Lourdas Bay is exceptional. Try and catch sundown and you will forget all of life’s rigours and submit to the wonderful Greek way of life...

We had the seabass with rice and salad and also peppers stuffed with Gouda and feta cheese - all very tasty! Staff were very friendly and as previously mentioned in other reviews there's a nice view of the sunset by the sea! Only real negative was the constant wasps buzzing round the table whilst trying to eat, but this is obviously not the restaurants fault! All in all was happy overall!

Have been in Lourdes for 10 days, have walked past Blue Sea every day and it has always been empty, so took this as a sign that it wouldn’t be any good, decided to give it a try tonight, what a surprise. The waiter was absolutely lovely, the starters were perfect and the main was delicious. Even the red wine which is never great in Greece was lovely the best this holiday. I don’t know why it’s empty. It should be packed....

The worst food we had in the area for the last 4 days! We went there for lunch on the 21.07.23 waited for 40 minutes! The most elaborate dish was chicken souvlaki. Stuffed tomatoes appeared to be re-heated at leat 10 times, mashy rice soaked in tomato sauce. Dish called "aubergine with onions" was practically onions in tomato sauce. I would not recommend it.
