First of all: there is not abundance of sand beaches at Kefalonia (even the "considered one of the most beautiful at Mediterranean" are typically white limestone pebble-bearing), so this may be considered unique. But so-called cinnamon sand means sand with mud (more precisely mudstone forming cliffs around). They're as typical with mud: brown (thus "unique" sand color, well known from clay holes) and green (with blue shade) that colors water. So water Is green-blue in color, but actually not clear but just muddy, until c.a. 30 meters from beach (limit of watched area). For those that likes beach bars or Greek version of Baywatch (yes, I mean it) it may be nice, still mind, major part is just 300 meters long and less than 10 meters wide, so in high season it may be crowdy, taking into account umbrella/sunbeds/bar zone is limited to c.a. 100m. Mud players may find it great, none is limiting applications, not even watching unstable cliffs they explore from the top (guess how often it falls with careless explorers, straight on the suntan catchers). But if you explore some more distant areas (divided by cliff entering water, so hard to reach dry) you may find a lot of space, less muddy water (clear start c.a. 15 meters from beach) and... no baywatch but more stones in shallow water. Please keep in mind, whole beach is several km long, so if you don't like crowd you'll find your place, however some area may be nearly unreachable from the land (cliffs, private areas, lack...
