Nisoi has an amazing view of the south side of Paliki. You can see Zakynthos and Argostoli quite well from the restaurant and the moon is beautiful to watch when rising during the evening. It is situated entirely outdoors but well protected from the elements. Bring a light jacket if you get cold during the evening. The atmosphere and food are amazing. I visited this restaurant 5 times during my stay in Xi. The cocktails are outstanding too. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu but you MUST try the phyllo wrapped feta with honey that is baked in the oven. It's very unique and I haven't had anything like it in my many visits to Greece. I also tried the beef meatballs with tomato sauce, the kebab with yogurt sauce, the pasta bolognese, fried zucchini balls (amazing) and countless other starters and mains. This was hands down our favourite place on the whole island! Staff were delightful, always smiling and super-accommodating. The food was m-m-m... delicious!! The options on the menu were very cleverly designed - combining the modern with the authentic Greek. The green salad with grilled veg was amazing! The produce used in salads was very fresh and of much higher quality than most other places we’ve eaten. Everything was beautifully flavoured, very well presented and extremely tasty. ★★★★★ Exceptional Dining Experience We had the pleasure of dining at Vardiani Restaurant and Bar twice during our stay on the island, and both visits were absolutely fantastic. The service was consistently excellent, and the food—cooked to perfection every time—truly stood out.

The catch of the day was incredibly fresh—clearly straight from the sea just hours before, and bursting with flavor. The tomahawk steak was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere in the world—an absolute must-try!
