Important you know what you are booking. ||Arrived 10ish and thought the place was closed. Hardly any lights and no sign of life. Young lad (the son?) in reception showed us to our room. My wife couldn’t lift her suitcase up three short flights of stairs, I had to lift one then return for the other. Maybe the lad didn’t notice but didn’t offer to help. We then went immediately to the ‘bar’ as we fancied a cold drink. The bar was a fridge, we were the only people in there apart from the young lad, a young girl (the daughter?) and a friend. At 10.30 they turned the lights off and said goodnight. ||In the family room for four people (OK there were only 2 of us) there were four coathangers. We asked for and were given more the next morning. Four? For two people? A queen sized iron bed and bunk beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, fridge and a TV on the wall (we didn’t turn on). The bathroom – if you sat on the toilet you had to put your feet in the shower - no shower curtain or window. Shower itself was handheld – no wall attachment. Balcony with plastic furniture and a nice view. ||The next morning we went for adequate breakfast, Bread, boiled eggs, yoghurt etc, Tea or coffee & juice. There was a chalk blackboard menu on the wall and we asked if that’s what they served for lunch/dinner. ‘Not all of it every day’. Hardly ‘much’ work to let people know what’s on offer each day. We had lunch and evening meal and again both were adequate. Not fine dining but we didn’t expect that. Food on offer was a subset of the food on offer at pretty much most of the bars we went to on the island. Steps down to the beach and sunbeds/parasols were free, although there was a notice saying 7euros for 2 beds & a parasol, guess that was for high season. ||Left along the beach – nothing really. Right and round a slight headland (a paddle not a swim) there is some life/bars/shops but not much. We then got hit by a massive storm – same one that flooded part of the Greek mainland and it became obvious that there was NOTHING to do at the hotel or the resort in general. The options were to try to get another flight home for maybe £400 or another room for £600 and still be on holiday. We were the only English people there. ||My wife only looked at the first few reviews which were quite complimentary – maybe she should have looked further though the reviews….In short, its got the essentials. Maybe good as a...

Moving on to the culinary aspect, dining here is quite a treat. Breakfast and dinner are served right by the sea, offering a unique ambiance. The morning international breakfast is satisfying and gets your day started on the right note. As for dinner, while it might not blow you away, it's still decent. The menu might not be extensive, but you'll find the options provided to be generous and reasonably priced. Plus, if you're up for a short walk, there are two excellent taverns nearby that provide additional dining choices.

Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel and had a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The location is absolutely perfect — just steps away from the beach, with breathtaking views of the sea from both the rooms and the restaurant. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying breakfast with that stunning view is something I won’t forget!
The cleanliness of the entire property is top-notch. Everything from the rooms to the common areas is impeccably maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile and make you feel at home.
The breakfast is another highlight — tasty, fresh, and quite consistent. It really sets you up for a good start to the day, and having it while overlooking the sea makes it even more special.
If I were to mention one downside, it would be the presence of mosquitoes in the evening. However, this is a minor issue and easily solved by using a mosquito repellent device in the room — which we did, and it worked just fine.
All in all, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the sea, with great service, comfort,...
