Very bad experience - while the decor and all is nice, almost felt like we're annoying the staff with our presence. You have to load the menu on your mobile phone using QR code, then you're being stared at when trying to pick up a dish with constant "Are you ready" "Are you ready"? The staff just felt rude to me.

The food (two pinsas) was terrible, very heavy and stomach upsetting - we were not able to eat it and left it there. I did not feel well after eating there for the rest of the evening. It was one of the most expensive dinners on the island, but the quality was the worst. For the same price, you could have wonderful greek food at "Antonello's grill" around the corner.

I would also like to mention the music at this venue. I generally like house music, but this was just way too loud and it played all the time. Our hotel was close to this place and hearing the banging all the time, from like 10 AM up till 2-3 AM was just inconsiderate. One of the Best Spots in Kefalonia! Alaya is truly a gem! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was incredible – relaxed, stylish, and full of positive vibes. The staff were beyond friendly and welcoming, always smiling and making sure we were having a great time. Their generosity and attention to detail really stood out.

The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. And the drinks? So generous and perfectly made – you definitely get your money’s worth and more!

Very disappointed with our visit to Alaya on Kefalonia. We waited 40 minutes just to place our order, and the staff seemed completely lost and disorganized – no one knew what they were doing, and the whole place was in chaos. When we finally managed to order, they immediately brought us the bill and said they were changing shifts – which wasn’t even true, since the same staff continued working for quite a while afterward.
