Damnoni beach — Attraction in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

A very good beach, Damnoni. The sand has small, gray-white small pebbles, clean water and an incredible blue. The umbrellas, the only small flaw, are of a fabric that makes the sun pass a lot: on the other hand, they are well placed in the space, which is wide for every umbrella, the girl who welcomes is kind and nice and if you want something from the bar, which is at the top, she carries it with a pretty smile. Decent beach, but some of the nearby beaches are nicer in my opinion. Here the sand was a bit dirty (perhaps this was temporary since I was here after strong winds) and the scenery was not as beautiful as at Plakias or Preveli beach. I did not swim as I was here in the end of November on a cooler day so I can't evaluate the water. Honestly not sure what the advantage is of going here over just going to the beach in Plakias where your accommodation...

Came to this beach because the Plakias beach close by was too touristy for us. This beach was great. Not too overcrowded and you can rent a set of deck chairs + umbrella. Super clear water and you get to see some fishes, too. Parking is free and available directly in the street or behind the tavernas.
