Planet Crete is Europe's answer to the Kennedy Space Centre - a truly astronomical place. There was so much information at hand and I felt like I learnt alot. The gift shop was out of this world and sold a vast array of Star Wars lego sets which I found incredibly relevant as a tribute to Aunt Beru.
One thing I would watch out for is the cut out of the space man that you can have a photo in. There is a chair behind it which I almost tripped up on.
The staff member was incredibly helpful and offered a selection of movies for us to watch, unfortunately it would have meant waiting for 2 hours in the car park, so we left it for next time.
The Planetarium is the main attraction but I think there is a Dinosaur park next door if you want to look through a window into prehistoric Earth. We saw one dinosaur on the way in and it looked just like those from Jurassic Park - watch out!

The science park is not worth it maybe spent time there while you wait for the movie of your choice inside the Planitarium
