We stayed at Noble Hotel Suites - Adults Only for two weeks. While there were some great aspects to our experience, several issues prevented us from fully enjoying our stay. Here’s a detailed review based on our time there:
Pros:
Beautifully Designed Rooms: The rooms are stunning, with a modern design and great attention to detail, giving us a sense of luxury. Friendly Staff: The staff was warm, welcoming, and accommodating. When we requested a room change due to an unsatisfactory view, they switched us without hassle. Private Swim-Up Pool: Our Junior Suite had a private swim-up pool, which offered privacy and relaxation, enhancing the atmosphere. Comfortable Bed: The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after long days of exploring. Extensive Drinks Package: The drinks package was varied, although some drinks weren’t included in the all-inclusive package, which was a bit frustrating. -Spa Experience: The spa staff was excellent, offering a great massage and even providing a complimentary 30-minute session when we had a minor issue with our treatment.
Cons:
Sewage Smell in the Room: Unfortunately, there was a persistent sewage smell in our room, which was quite unpleasant. We later found out that other guests experienced the same issue. Running the shower helped reduce the smell, but it’s a recurring problem the hotel should address. Substandard Food: The food quality was disappointing for a 5-star hotel. Most dishes were lukewarm, and the lack of variety became frustrating over our stay. We ended up dining outside the hotel for variety. Dinner was buffet-style, which felt inappropriate for a 5-star establishment, and there were no snacks available outside of meal times. Lack of Sunbeds by the Main Pool: There weren’t enough sunbeds around the main pool, making it difficult to find a spot, which detracted from the relaxing vibe. Understaffed Bar and Dining Area: The bar often had only one staff member, leading to long wait times, especially around closing time (11 pm for the all-inclusive bar, which for all-inclusive was frustrating). Service during meals was slow due to understaffing, and a self-service station for basic drinks would have been a useful addition. Evening Entertainment: There was very little evening entertainment, leaving the hotel feeling lacking in ambiance. Some live music or soft background tunes could have helped create a more pleasant atmosphere. Overpriced Late Check-Out: We were shocked by the €150 fee for late check-out, which was nearly the price of an entire night’s stay, leaving a sour note at the end of our holiday.
Other Notes:
Room Size and Storage: While our Junior Suite was spacious, we heard from other guests that the double rooms were much smaller and lacked adequate storage. Location (Gouves Village): The hotel’s location in Gouves is not particularly appealing, and if you're looking for more vibrant areas in Crete, places like Chania offer more to explore.
Final Thoughts:
There were several aspects of Noble Hotel Suites that we enjoyed—especially the design, the private pool, and the friendly staff. However, the cons, particularly the food quality, sewage smell, and service issues, outweighed the positives. Combined with the high price for late check-out and limited entertainment, we can't recommend this hotel as a 5-star experience. If you're considering staying in Crete, you might find better options in more vibrant areas like Chania, which offer more in terms of location, food, and...
Read moreIt could’ve been a 5 star experience but it wasn’t. It’s a gorgeous hotel, but the looks doesn’t match the experience that you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Upon checking in we were lucky that our room was ready despite being 3 hours before check in time, so that was good. When we inspected the room we noticed that it was not only facing the noisy street, but also a hotel under construction. I choose to give it a chance and see if we would experience a lot of noise, and we did. the hotel that is under construction starts around 07:00 in the morning and combined with the loud street you won’t sleep in or have a relaxed time. I went to the reception and explained the situation and asked if they had another room, I also mentioned that prior to our arrival we sent an email requesting a room that didn’t face the street cause we are light sleepers, and we got a answer saying that our request was noted and they would do their best to accommodate this request. The receptionist explained me that the room type we booked is just facing the Main Street, which is strange that no one mentioned this when answering my email. If that was the case, they could’ve explained me that I would’ve to change room type and I wouldn’t have had this issue now. The receptionist still tried to look and told me only a few rooms were upgradable and when asked how much would that be, he made a phone call, I assume to the manager, and when he hang up he told me the hotel is full booked and nothing is possible. 2 days later we hear the manager at dinner telling the table next to us that they could change their room the next day so I was surprised to overhear this conversation. Also this manager never asked us how we are doing, and if the stay is okay. He asked many people but never us. Upon check out also we were not asked how our stay was. One day we didn’t have water and electricity but it was resolved quickly.
The pools are nice but they don’t have enough pool beds, people reserve them and disappear for hours.
Room cleaning was questionable, empty wipes box was not refilled, used glasses not cleaned up.
Food at the restaurant was okay, but not 5 star. The bread was not fresh and some of the desserts were recycled for 3 days. Also the last breakfast was a weird experience: we asked for another orange juice and when the female server went to get it another male server got angry and looked at us very angry/annoyed. I assume it’s because it has to be fresh pressed? Since when is it a problem to ask at an all inclusive another orange juice? That was at 10:25 so when the breakfast is till 11:00 it’s your job to make sure you have enough available. The girl came back and filled me a quarter of a glass and asked me if I wanted more, but after this situation I declined and we left.
At the pool you will get approached by spa staff that offers you treatments, for us it was fine because we wanted to book it anyway, but I can also understand that some guests don’t like that. We had a couple body experience, 1 hour and 15 minutes for €140 per person. It’s pricey when you ask me but it was a nice experience.
We spent €2500 for a week and it was...
Read moreThis past summer I had the most amazing experience of my dream vacation in Crete. The Noble Hotel opened its door in June 2024. It all started with the outstanding private pickup from the airport that I ordered directly with the hotel. OMG I knew already it was going to be a fun visit. When we reached this beautiful hotel, I was greeted by Maria at reception. She was unbelievably good. I felt like family was welcoming me to their home. Everybody spoke English which was a big plus. The whole check in experience was stellar. Maria answered all my questions without me having to ask her. Then we went to my room. OMG it was gorgeous and the rate was outstanding. It’s so nice to walk into a room that was soo clean and meticulous. My balcony was my sanctuary for the stay. This hotel had it all. The grounds were gorgeous, the pools were crystal clear. I love the fact that it was all inclusive. They even have an Executive Chef on site very culinary. His name is Mikey and he loves what he does. If you are a foodie, this is a must visit. I love watching Mikey prepare his savory meals for the guests. He is so passionate about his trade and it shows in all the food he puts out for our meals.
The staff at this hotel was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. My room was part of a dream. I think it was probably one of the nicest rooms I ever stayed in. The athletic director was beyond outstanding. She offered yoga, pilates, stretching, meditation and dancing classes. So much fun it was perfect. The girl bartender was superb. Each alcoholic and coffee drink she made were artisan. I would watch the other guests how pleased they were with her craft. I would sit by the pool and hear them go on about how amazing she is and how happy they are with the service. Everyone was lovely, caring and pleasant. Maria who was a member of the cleaning staff is by far one of the most sincere and loving person that you will ever meet. She is always smiling and she is always helping someone. She keeps the hotel sparkling. This is a boutique ish hotel with a true 5 star look and service. They have thought of everything. I was wanting for nothing. One night they had a live band playing Greek music. Wow it was quite a cultural memory that I won’t ever forget. All the staff members could not do enough for you and the VIP memory will last in your mind. They were all stellar and I have to give a special huge thank you to Maria at reception for all the help in all my travel arrangements. Thank you Maria for everything that you do. You definitely go above and beyond to see that all hotel guests are happy. Go and see what I have written you will thank yourself. Life is too short not experience this superior noteworthy...
