If you're not fond of row upon row of sunbeds, then there's some nice little shingle coves here which are pretty nice.
As others have said, make sure you don't put your towel too close to the water because the wash from bigger boats is quite strong and you could end up with things getting wet which aren't designed for it.
It wasn't very windy when we were there, so swimming was fine.
At least one review talks about sunbathing in the nude here. I'm happy to strip off where it's appropriate, but these coves aren't really suitable.
Avoid swimming here and on the main beach just South of these coves after heavy rain, I noticed a storm overflow sewer in the area. It wasn't running, but looks like it'll discharge directly to this area after rain ... of which there was, unusually, a lot of one day a couple of weeks before...
