Popped into this “home-cooking” taverna while walking to the acropolis from Ialyssos (it seemed to be the only eatery open in the area). Seems home run, the family were very friendly and there was an incessant stream of locals taking away lunch especially the lasagna items! My lunch indeed felt very home-cooked and was delish. Beef meatballs with some spices in a pasta-like tomato sauce which i mopped up with the bread; lemon tomato baked fish with sliced potatoes; and green beans in tomato sauce....

Great restaurant! Traditional Greek cuisine, just a few minutes from the Acropolis. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Great local experience! The friendliest staff helped me choose what to order, although I'm sure everything would have been delicious. I ordered the moussaka and was given a huge portion! Prices are very fair as well. Take away is easy here as I saw two local ladies getting food packed up. I love stumbling into places like this - amazing...
