We visited in off season, without any ticket and crazy loud tourists. The site is very well restaurated. There is a nice path that guides you through different historical periods of the peninsula, from 600 BC till the modern age, from hellenistic time till the egyptian rule. There are several points where you can read interesting facts about local marble excavation, byzantine basilica structures, ancient erotic graffities, cave systems etc. At first sight you would think it's another place where you find some old stones all over, won't understand anything, made just for crazy archeologists that can see the invisible and you will be fed up in a half an hour boiled on sun, but you might be wrong, cause in reality it's a very nice trip that can be done in an hour or if you take it slow in 2-3.
