Last autumn I booked a holiday with this business, hoping for a relaxing family getaway in Greece. Unfortunately, it turned out to be an absolute disaster.

Firstly, the accommodations were in terrible condition. The photos on the website were clearly outdated or heavily edited. The rooms were small, poorly cleaned, and smelled of mildew. The so-called "kitchenette" was barely functional, and there was mold in the bathroom. The outdoor area was unkempt, with broken chairs and garbage scattered around.

But the worst part was the owner's unacceptable attitude. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that children were not welcome. The owner made snide remarks about noise (from toddlers, mind you!) and treated us like we were a nuisance rather than paying customers. At one point, we were scolded because our kids were playing outside during the day, as though that was some sort of crime.

When I raised concerns about the cleanliness and unsafe conditions, the owner completely dismissed them, saying, "What do you expect? This isn't a 5-star hotel," with a smug attitude. No apology, no effort to fix the issues – just rude comments and a complete lack of professionalism.

To anyone traveling with kids: stay far away from this place. It is not family-friendly, and the owners clearly don't care about providing a good experience for their guests. There are plenty of other wonderful places in Greece – don’t waste your time...

Archodissa restaurant always offers a good choice of delicious starters and mains, such as stuffed vegetables, also known as ‘’gemista’’ and potatoes from the wood oven. Lamb is also something everyone loves to eat and we prepare it with love.We raise our own goats and lamb, so we assure you of the pureness and the high quality. It has been said that the 3 fundamentals and the most important ingredients for the Ancient Greeks were bread, wine and olive oil. We make the bread that comes to your table with an exceptional taste in the wooden oven.

The idea of eating together is not a new one. The history has taught us that the ancient Greeks wanted to establish a civilized lifestyle that separated them from the barbarians and food played a determinant role in this. Today, eating food and drinking in Greece, is a lifestyle that not only satisfies the physical needs, but it has been established more like a social event. The only positive about this pension is the location, close to Alyki beach. The rooms are small and a bit dated, just as other reviews mentioned, but we were ok with that when we booked since it was last minute and there were not many options still available.

But just as other people said, the owner cancelled my booking reservation while I was there. They probably want to cheat booking out of the commision and also this way you can’t review them on booking.

In my case, I had used a promotional code for cashback when reserving on booking, and after complaining about this, they promised they will refund me for the cashback amount I was supposed to receive. They even asked for my account in order to transfer the money, but guess what..one month passed and no refund, and they obviously no longer answer...
