I just had to write a review about Him Lam Golf Driving Range! Let me start by saying, I'm not even that great at golf. I mean, I can whack the ball consistently enough, but don't expect to see me on the PGA Tour anytime soon. That being said, this place was fantastic.
Him Lam is this sprawling driving range right by the river. You can actually feel a nice breeze coming off the water which is a huge plus in this Ho Chi Minh City heat. They have a ton of bays, so even though I went on a Saturday afternoon, the wait wasn't bad. Plus, each bay has this little fan that was a lifesaver.
I rented a bucket of balls and hit for about an hour. The views of the city skyline from the range were pretty cool, and it was honestly just really relaxing. They also have a putting green and a chipping area if you want to work on your short game, but I stuck to the driving range this time.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend Him Lam to anyone looking for a fun activity in Ho Chi Minh City. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just a beginner like me, it's a great place to practice your swing and enjoy the outdoors. Just remember to bring sunscreen and maybe a hat – that...
Read moreI came here on a Sunday evening with my 2 friends who never tried golf before so we might have been looking unprepared but I still wanted to show them the experience. We got greeted by another female employee that started a discussion with us and wouldn't stop bothering us with her critique after we told her we are first time players and left handed. She was angry because we used the wrong club. We were just asking for the balls but it got into such a negative atmosphere out of nowhere.
The view and the golf were nice. All overall it was ok but my past experiences and opinions in this establishment were much...

Then the staff makes fun of the customers bc we inquire the about the cost! Train your staff better!
Nonsense golf range!
EDIT: I came back and order ice again, and they are free! So what I ended up ordering more drinks (coconut, iced tea, coffee) to support their business!
If the manager/owner read my review, I really appreciate your response by taking swift actions!
