M Saigon Apartment- The Manor 2 — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

The location seems great, but it's not walkable; you're going to want to have a ride ready or your own mode of transportation unless you're comfortable with walking across what is essentially a freeway to get to the shopping area. The room we stayed in kind of smelled like sewage and our friends' room smelled like mildew. Our shower was dirty, the toilet didn't have a bidet (which I didn't think was possible in Vietnam), our bed sheets were stained when we got there, and the coach was incredibly dirty and stained. Fantastic location! Right in the middle of multiple districts and only a 10 minute ride into the heart of district 1. Incredible views of landmark 81 I'd you can get a North/East facing room. The rooftop pool is amazing, incredible views all round and really well maintained. The manor 2 has an upper-class feeling to it from the security guards/doormen, open entrance, reception staff and fancy elevators....

I liked staying here, I was on the top floor so it was nice and quiet from the traffic below. It's a 40 minute walk into town, but they have some nice restaurants and coffee shops in the immediate area. Also a grocery store is nearby. The rooftop pool is a nice addition to relax and get a nice view...
