Disappointing Experience

As tourists, we visited the restaurant Echo, where we received a promotional game along with our bill. The instructions said that if we visited any of their four different locations and spent a total of 30,000 HUF, we would receive a Tihany gift package. We reached the required amount and went to the designated gift point, crossing all of Tihany to get there, only to be told by the shop attendant that we couldn’t receive the gift. She claimed we needed receipts from all four locations, which was not stated in the instructions. Nowhere did it mention that receipts from each specific location were necessary—only that the total spent had to be 30,000 HUF. We left very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this...

Kind of unprofessional welcoming. The workers look at you like garbage and you pay to have a tour in their factory. That’s the best thing you find in Hungary, they really don’t know how to handle and respect tourists.

Bad luck for them today also because being French myself I found grammar spelling errors in their lavender museum was kind of funny 😄

So let me correct some of the information:

“FranciaorszáGban” and “ProvEnce” ! I think we would never make such a mistake in France spelling “Tokeji” instead of “Tokaji”.

Balatonalmádiban nyaraltunk férjemmel, elmentünk Tihanyba, ellátogattunk a boltba. Rengeteget vásároltunk, 1 vagyont ott hagytuk, a kedves szőke eladó Hölgy mondta, hogyha rajtuk kívül Tihanyban még elmegyünk 3 helyre és fogyasztunk is, akkor, ha vissza megyünk hozzá, és elvisszük a számlákat, ajándékcsomagot kapunk. Ezek között volt étterem, kávézó, és 1 fagyizó. Éhesek voltunk, amúgy is akartunk enni, kávézni és fagyizni is, ezért utrakeltünk. Küldetés teljesítve😄visszaérkeztünkor, már nem a kedves szőke hölgy volt, hanem az érkezésünkor ott lévő, szúrós tekintetű, egyáltalán nem boldog, hogy ott vagyunk, iroda ajtót köszönés nélkül becsapó levendula lila blézerkében lévő barna hosszúhajú hölgy. / Gondolom tulajdonos lehetett/ Most sem örült nekünk, és a lelkesedésemet sem értette, hosszasan átnézte a számlákat, majd hozzánk vágott 1 szappant. Férjem próbált vele kommunikálni, kérdezgette a helyről, a gyártási folyamatokról stb., nem nagy sikerrel. Kicsit csalódott voltam, de a termékek jók, még ha az ajándékcsomag igencsak szükre...
