Aronia Spa & Wellness — Attraction in Budapest

It does not deserve 5 star hotel mark at best it is 3 star. The decoration is very outdated and the materials including the bed are very cheap. The meals were absolutely horrific but 25 euros was charged for such terrible buffet meal. The spa is not very well maintained and changing room and the shower is really disgusting. I went to a massage place in the center called Magnolia which was slightly cheaper but had amazing facilities (really top) and services while this hotel has below facilities and service. The reception staff is unprofessional and unfriendly and forgot to get my taxi to the airport. The towel was dirty (one of them had metal stains). The transfer I got from this other apartment hotel called 7 seasons had its special airport shuttle privatised for 30 euros. Here they just got a normal yellow taxi for me and costed more than 30 euros. I do not recommend anyone to stay here considering the value for money as well as the fact that it is out of no where and the quality of service. The pool area is nice and the pools are big enough to be in them without annoying strangers. The floor is very very slippery, literally ice-like. The showers and lockers area is under renovation so it currently not very appealing but the lockers are big and they even have scales and a centrifuge in there. The sauna is average size, half of the saunas and steam baths were closed for maintenance. There is a small bar that serves beverages, turmixes and some food, but is very overpriced (2 dl of Coke costs 1100HUF in january 2023). 5 éve jártam utoljára a wellness részlegen akkoriban évekig éves bérletem volt és imádtam ezt a helyet. A mai napon “sajnos” visszatértem de hatalmas csalódás volt. Az öltözőszekrények 60%-a használhatatlan és retkes. A hajszárítóra mindent lehet mondani de a hajat nem szárítja. Köntösök szakadtak. Az étel amit rendeltünk hidegen érkezett. A konditerem mintha egy csatatér lenne a súlyok össze vissza dobálva… nem baj bemelegítésnek legalább rendet raktam. Ketten a belépővel illetve az 1-1 fogásos ebédünkkel 24 ezer forintot hagytunk ott amire azt mondom, hogy ha ezek amiket felsoroltam rendben lennének egy szavam se lenne , mert a mai világban ezek az árak.

Elfelejtettem említeni, hogy a ferfi szauna nem működik így a nőiből egy koedukált szaunát csináltak ami így elég szűkös és nem mindig van hely. A 4 vagy 5 liftből talán ha 1 üzemel.

Ahol betelt a pohár és talán ha ez az incidens nem történik meg akkor ennek a véleménynek neki se állok, az az hogy erre a 24ezer Ft-ra még óránként felszámoltak 440ft parkolást amit nem tudtak nekünk a recepción lehúzni.(ingyenessé tenni) Amikor ezt a recepciös hölgytől megkérdeztem az volt a válasza hogy : “ez mindig is így volt”. Nyílván nem tudhatta hogy régebben törzsvendég voltam és tudom, hogy nem így volt a hölgy stílusáról nem is beszélve. Egy ilyen szállodában ez a stílus megengedhetetlen de még egy motelben is. Ezután a recepciós hölgynek is elhadartam gyorsan a problémáimat de külön megkellett kérnem, hogy nézzen a szemembe ha hozzá beszélek.. nagy nehezen megtette a számítógép nyomogatása helyett. A recepciós hölgy a panaszaimra “nagyon profin” ezt kérdezte: “Akkor miért járnak ide?Nem kell ide járni”

Úgy gondolom a tulajdonosoknak itt az ideje zsebbe nyúlni és egy kicsit renoválni a wellness részt illetve nem spórolni a staff bérén, nyílván akkor valamivel kompetensebb és kedvesebb személyzetet sikerülne összehozni. Sok sikert kívánok hozzá...
