The Icelandic Museum of rock'n'roll

Sounds to be a nice museum. My friend living in Reykjavik told me I had to do it as it was amazing. I discovered artist I didn’t known and will add it to my playlist for sure but my experience on the museum was not as great as said...

I came today around 2pm and basically not been welcomed: the girl at the front desk just asked me if I wanted a ticket and made me pay. I try to ask some information like « How long we need to visit the museum? » and maybe have some information where to start... but the girl just answered me rudely « it will take the time you want » and she sat back behind her desk... I had to visit by my own, and enjoyed some musics but at the end I discovered, I started by the end and there was actually little audio guides numbers through the differents steps of the exhibition. I never been proposed any audio guides at the entrance. It’s a shame I’ve been welcomed by this rude person. She would have give me all needed information and advises (with audio guide) at the beginning, I would have enjoyed this museum in a better way. At the end I will not recommend this place to my friends who plan to visit Iceland. If you want to discover Icelandic Rock/Pop music, search on Google or Spotify (or others streaming platforms) and save your money for something else.
