So this place was cafeteria like and nothing is in English but it is easy enough to order. You just point what you want and they put in on your plate. My husband and I went for lunch and they had a soup and salad bar with your meal. My husband got fish and chips, I ordered some kind of meatballs with boiled potatoes and this was the best meal we had in Iceland. The soup was delicious! Granted, we camped and ate a lot of easy camp stove food, but this was our third plate of fish and chips (hubby loves fish and chips) and this place came out on top, he especially liked the sauce. I'm pretty sure we were the only tourists in there so we felt a bit out of place but the staff was nice. The very best daily lunch bistro we visited during our Iceland trip. Multiple variations of fish, pork and chicken available each day. I had super delicious fried cod. The main dish price also includes soup, salad bar and coffee. The portions are huge, e.g. pork dish was 3 big slices of fillet. Great deal! Unlimited salad bar, soup, and coffee with purchase of entree. Try to get there before 11:30 as the local construction workers all eat there and the line wraps around the restaurant.
