It has a wide collections of abnormally grown organisams, medival period Urns, spectacular sculptures of God's and Goddess. It also has an old chariot carved out of wood. The statues are beautifully carved and varies from 1ft to 7ft high. It also has replicas of Raja Ravi Verma paintings, the best being the ones of Ravana's Sita Kidnapping episode, House-wife Kid and the doggie waiting for the Husband to reach home.
It is bit sad to see the bad state of affairs of the Muesum with such precious items, the roof is heavily damaged leaving the sculptures to expose to heavy rain and sun. It is necessary the Government of Tamil Nadu takes all cognizance to save these rare sculptures to pass on to the next generation.
