Visited the district twice. One of the district where three oceans meet/merge together at southern most tip of India. It is a district where sunrise, sunset, moon rise and moon set are visible. It is one of the unique destination than any other destinations. First visit on 31/10/1996. Second visit on 17/10/2021.Reached Kanyakumari at 3PM in both visits. Every often I dream visiting this place between 2 visits. Recently yesterday date 06/02/2022 Sunday I dreamt like visiting Kanyakumari. I saw moonrise in dream.Stayed there 3 hours in both visits. There was student (classmate) in B.E.L. High school as well as a BEL Employee.Their's only name is Kanyakumari. I studied Kanyakumari chapter i.e. Manadaniye nodi manide author is M. K. Indira in First language Kannada in Tenth standard. I followed M K Indira's pattern in first visit. I am residing in Bangalore. 25 years gap between first visit and second visit. Enjoyed in both visits. First visit by roadway. Second visit by railway. In first visit no Tiruvalluvar statue, Kamaraja Mantappa, fish park, Kanyakumari Devi statue and view tower, went boating seen sunset only. In second visit there was Tiruvalluvar statue, Kamaraja Mantappa, fish park, Kanyakumari Devi statue and view tower I couldn't see sunset because cloudy, I couldn't go boating due to covid restrictions. In the first visit I had no smart mobile phone/camera. In the second visit I had smart mobile phone camera(48MP).I love Kanyakumari my favorite tourist district. Once again I like to come there also I wish to settle there. Let this dream come true.No matter whether my room/material is fine/beautiful. I enjoy and love nature. A district where 3 oceans meet together. It is a unique beach and destination not any where in the world. This district is also one among this. Also a district and for peace of mind. I hate tall buildings

Triveni Sangam, Kanyakumari is a sacred and enchanting spot where three great water bodies meet — the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean. This confluence of seas makes Kanyakumari one of the most unique geographical and spiritual destinations in India. The merging of these three waters is considered holy in Hindu tradition, symbolizing purity, unity, and spiritual harmony. Devotees believe that a dip at this sangam washes away sins and brings inner peace. The beauty of the Triveni Sangam lies in the clear distinction of the waters, which often appear in three different shades, creating a mesmerizing view. During sunrise and sunset, the golden rays reflect on the waves, giving the sangam a divine charm. Many pilgrims visit this place to perform rituals and offer prayers for ancestors, considering it highly auspicious. Apart from its religious significance, the sangam is also a major tourist attraction. From here, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the towering Thiruvalluvar Statue, both standing on small rocky islets in the sea. The cool breeze, rhythmic sound of waves, and the sight of endless waters merging together create a serene and meditative atmosphere. Historically, Kanyakumari has been a center of spiritual learning and maritime importance. The Triveni Sangam continues to attract saints, poets, travelers, and seekers from across the world. It represents the meeting point not just of seas but also of cultures, philosophies, and beliefs, making it a truly divine confluence. Thus, Triveni Sangam at Kanyakumari is more than a geographical marvel; it is a symbol of faith, unity, and timeless beauty.
