1/ Family Friendly Environment. 2/ A Good Place For Evening, Morning Walk & Adda. 3/ Good Facilities For Kids. 4/ A fast food joint is available . 5/ All type of outside food is not allowed here except water bottles. 6/ Personally, I think the entry fee of Rs20 per adult Indian and the monthly jogging fees Rs300 is a costly affair for lower middle class Indians. For people from upper middle class and creamy layer section, it is like spending a penny but for lower middle class people like us, it's not possible to visit and enjoy the beauty of the park by everyday for the cost factor. (Well, I understand the maintenance and personnel management expenditures required to upkeep this type of park.) Still, I think maybe Government does not wants us like people to visit this type of places anymore. Note- I am not a Anti- Development person.

While I visited SK almost 3 yrs back, it was awesome, but now I feel, lost its all charm somewhere.. specious, but juncaceous...most of the rides & activities are not working (not aware why, due to it was evening time or not functioning)... somehow looks clean, but not sensing comfortable... lots of couples are roaming awkward, sitting in dark corners, adults are playing swings and teeter-totters and no one is there to stop them, nor they are ashamed of...the behaviour of people here are disgraceful..also there is a big multilevel parking space attached, but useless people who are visiting SK and nearby mall are parked their cars & bikes everywhere over the main road like junks...

Beautiful park for all age group . · play and enjoy different types of Swing , marigold .. etc.Toytrain is also available . Open Stage is in the centre of the park and have to take permission for performance when needed . Water fountain is a plus point of this park . Visit here and refresh yourself . Children can. It is a very nice place to spend your evening with your loved ones. They have even a small park for children and alse a food court. The best thing about this park is it is very clean and well maintained This place is worth a visit.

This a nice park where you can take your kids for an evening play. The only drawback about this park is its closing time. It must be open atleast till 9pm on sundays. Because this is guwahati city, and closing time in 8pm is way too early. Otherwise, the kids can enjoy the normal slides and swings as well as there is one toy train for kids and one big swing for adults and many more rides especially for kids which are powered by electricity. There is an open air auditorium, sometimes on special occasions, functions take place there.

Shraddhanjali Kanan, garden cum park, is located in RG Baruah Road, Guwahati, opposite the Assam State Zoo. well maintained lawns for yoga purposes as well. Good place for outing and chilling with friends.. Popular city park with an illuminated fountain, a children's playground as well. Except Thursday , the park is open all the days . Timings - 10am to 8pm. You can also have some refreshments inside the park .

SK becomes very much popular in Guwahati. Visitors can spent their time there. The required arrangements are available inside SK. There are dedicated place for children's fun. There are lots of plant and shades available inside SK Especially at the time of Bihu and puja lot's event are being organised and you could enjoy the same during that period. Entry ticket for adults@20 Kids and senior citizens@10.
