have been there couple of time since it first opened up. There were lot of hype and honestly i wanted to see whats the big deal ia all about. Guwahati had very few parks of good rep like Nehru Park only. So, it was great to visit this new park. There were lot of rides and play things for children and ample space for couple to spend some quality time. But recently the park has deteriorated due to the negligence of the civic authority lot of the children's swing and slides are broken or rusted also not ample cleaning. I hope the civic authorities will wake up and bring this park back to its glory days.

Sradhanjali Kanan is a very beautiful open air garden cum park on RG Barua road of Guwahati city. Ideal for morning and evening walk,this park has amusement facilities for children too.Food joints are there. In the evening laser show is also organized.Good official parking is available A lovely place to visit.

It has some play areas for small kids, a food stall and lots of place to sit around and relax for some time. But BEWARE!! of food junction inside. Price doesn't matter but quality of the food is 3rd class infact i suggest street food is better then this. So guys don't waste your money inside. This place adjacent to the Assam State Zoo and Botanical Garden has turned out to be a favourite haunting ground for teenagers, couples and newly married ones. One of the features of the park is the memorial column built to honour the martyrs of the independence movement. Every year on the Republic Day and Independence Day the Chief Minister and other high dignitaries pay tributes to the martyrs of the freedom movement. Every evening there is a huge crowd thronging the memorial park leading to traffic snarls. The chaotic traffic scene will improve with the coming up of the parking lot just close to it. Another attraction of the memorial park is the pond with the huge water screen showing images and colourful dancing water fountains drawing hordes of people. The well lit memorial park has an amusement section for the children too with various games. The well maintained sprawling memorial park has a space for enactment of dramas and plays.
