HOLIDAY CAFÉ &! Holiday Home Stay — Restaurant in Assam

One of the worse resturent I have ever visited at Zoo Road till date. When I went to this one, they delivered an attractive menu (on paper format). But in reality, there is nothing available as per the menu. The first three items I ordered are not available to serve. (even they don't have noodles to serve). After reset and placing my order, they serve the items one after another. In pasta, they used normal macaroni and no veg added except sum corns (but the price of a plate is above Rs300). Also in another item, they used excessive amount of oils to cook. Here, serving is the another worse part. They serve only a plate for more than one items to eat, and don't even ask to replace after finishing one food. Even we have to ask for the water bottle. There is no professionalism in their service. Guwahati has already had a problem. At first you won't have something. That someone starts and becomes successful. And then a zillion people follow suit, often failing to deliver anything close to an acceptable experience.

Chic cafes are that 'something' right now. Loads of them opening up all over, not all good. Holiday Cafe is among the good ones.

It's nicely done up. The menu is interesting. It's a cool place to hang out. Heck, you could even find a corner for yourself if you are alone... And they have some books you could borrow... To read while you sip away.

The price at par with any cafe. Ain't too cheap, neither too expensive. Certainly worth a shot.

Next time, I might give the heavier meals a go. For now it's been such the coffees. Shall certainly...

In one word one of the most lively and vibrant cafe of Guwahati with such a beautiful interior, a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Loved the vibe of this restaurant. The wooden interior is quite evident. The staff was very friendly. We had ordered grilled chicken and grilled fish with pomegranate cocktail (it was exceptionally good, must try) all of which were delicious. Would love to visit again and taste the other items on their menu.

Owner of the cafe Aneisha ba is really awesome and designed the cafe very well. She is so much attentive too and have very good taste of food and music from around the globe which can be easily experienced in her cafe under one roof.
