Visited this restaurant for lunch day before yesterday .....located on kanakapura road their biggest competitor is Adigas located few meters from this place .the place is quite huge ! U have parking space . Couple of outdoor table seating , self service and A/C service hall . Coming to the food , we were starving so ordered north Indian thali and A2B south Indian special thali .
North Indian thali-(131 bucks) 1.tomato soup- it was pathetic , one of the worst soups I have ever had , it tasted like tomato juice than soup ,was very disappointed . 2.roti - the roti was of adequate size and soft but they were cold , it didn't look like it was freshly made .. 3.vegetable korma - this is common for both north and south Indian thali , it tasted good with lot of veggies coated in masala , the curry was little towards spicy side, liked it . 4.panner butter masala - or I at least think it was ....the curry was little bland , it could have used a little more salt and spice , it was ok ok 5.Dal - the deal was also really good , it was a little towards spicy side . 6.veg biryani- it was again horrible , it was stone cold , bland and didn't taste like freshly made ,wasn't good . Curd rice - really loved the presentation , thank god it was freshly made . Jamun - tasted good , adequate amount . Nothing great about it.
South Indian- ( 151 bucks ) 1.chapathi - the chapathi are really soft and of adequate size . 2.veg biryani - it's almost similar to the north veg biryani , again bland and not freshly made . 3.vada- it was good, nothing great .
U get about 4 curries , they are good , nothing great but nothing wrong . Quantity of rice is sufficient . Sweet is the same jamun , 4.ice cream - it's ok ok ...again nothing great ....
Being such a huge chain of hotel I would expect a little better standard to be maintained , although most of the food was good , dishes like the veg biryani and tomato soup was too horrible to be ignored, and also the issue of the food not being hot not even the soup, very disappointed even if the prices are low
A la carte is a little expensive and thali isn't worth the price , chats are very expensive . Hence not recommend for regular visit or planned visit . Visit only if you don't have options or...
