Vibhutipura lake is one of the beautiful lake among plenty of lakes in garden City , Bangalore.

It's located in the middle of the Bangalore City and its access from multiple locations i.e. vibhutipura, vignana nagar, basava nagar, Mallesh palya and many more.

It has a wonderful walking way or jogging track for the benefit of surrounding people to do morning and evening walk.

The lake is on the verge of extiction. No local bodies are paying attention on it. All are dumping garbage into lake no filter of bio and non-bio degradable waste is happing at all .Its very mandatory to intervene the government in the preservation of the lake. Many NGO voluneer like BHUMI is contributing and doing awereness program but all in vain if they dont get the support of local bodies .Seriously need government to intervene into it and preserve the lake. They use to allow pets only from 10-11 AM in hot summers. Now they have stopped that too. We as per parents go with garbage bags and water bottles to ensure that we do not litter the place. But now they will not allow pets altogether.

What a shame. They will still allow the unsafe slum dwellers to live who attack people and drink...
