FD Park — Attraction in Bidhannagar

Open area good place for "prem" & adda with pals. 😁 Must visit place for All Pandal hoopers. There are few Special puja mandaps in Salt lake, like BJ block, AJ block, Karunamoyee Abason and this FD block. To visit FD block one can take an auto from Kakurgachi and reach FD block. If someone is coming from Kauranoyee crossing, then turn right towards Central Park and it will be om second Island. It is adjacent to Pouro Bhaban. It has a huge Ground where the puja Pandal is made. The Entrance is quite wide and big to stop over crowding. Also the Exit is on other side of the Pandal helping smooth Exit of the Darshanarthis. There is always police posting to help a smooth darshan experience. Few years back it made toy land depicting the story of gulliver's Travel which was a great hit and spot of attraction for the kids and young generation. Also around 20 years back it came into limelight due to a huge Durga idol made stand outside the pandal. Almost every year the organisers try to come UP with something different and has always been able to attract Pandal hoppers from across Kolkata and ots suburbs. I recently spent an afternoon at the park, and it was such a nice experience! The greenery was refreshing, and I loved how well-maintained everything looked.
