N Block Market — Attraction in Delhi

This is a small and cosy-looking market, which is quiet and not crowded during the day...not sure if it is because of the searing summer heat in Delhi which keeps day-time shoppers away!

The stores in this market are very interesting, because they have a niche collection of apparel, accessories, crockery, home linen and show pieces which are a blend of the ethnic as well as modern. The best thing about this market is the classy range of products and brands that it has to offer. On the flip side, it may not suit everybody's budget because most of the brands here are premium and upscale. FabIndia, Anokhi, India Circus are some of the stores that have a presence here. In addition, there is also a quiet and welcoming bookstore present at the basement level close to FabIndia, which could be quite a pull for all the bibliophiles out there!

Used to be a great place, however since the MCD sealing, Cafe Turtle and part of FabIndia have closed down. Bread and More is a nice small quaint coffee shop with limited seating, a good menu and awesome gourmet ice creams. The market has Suvasa, FabIndia, Anokhi, Zuri, Kilol, Jamun Tree, Jaypore, Jainsons, Vrinda, and two high end designers for clothes. It has two home furnishings and interior decor shops. Has both Kama and Forest Essentials. Has a medicine shop, a silver shop, a beauty shop, and a mother dairy. It also has eateries like Kasba, Thai House and Cafe Diva. Ok..I like this place a lot because they have really good shopping brands, some amazing eating joints around. The only issue with GK is you never get all the routes right..even if you visit like a 1000 times here. So be very specific with your autowalas about N Block or else in confusion if he takes you to M Block..you will be left with no option but hire another auto..because let's be frank.. Delhi ke auto rickshaws can charge your kidney if they realise that you have made a mistake in stating the address. ;) If you reach without any confusion...
