Nandan Park (MCD) Greater Kailash I — Attraction in Delhi

Well newly opened park has its own charm with fresh equipments and fairly clean looking grass and manicured bushes. They've tried to build it in pockets of the lawn divided by age groups and then some shaded seating and a little open section of the lawn for group activities and picnic, and not to forget a jogging track around the entire park.

Watch out : they opened the park but the toilets are yet to be completed???? And hence no one has yet been appointed to Clean the toilets that have been placed there....so if your little one needs to go and you do not want to step into the stinking placeholder of a toilet, then get out of the park to the nearest restaurant or marketplace.

There is no official parking spot so Park at your own risk on the nearby roadside with the chance of a fun encounter with the car towing service.

It remains to be seen if the park is able to maintain it's sheen in the days...

Amazing place to spend time with family and kids. Lots of rides, swings and play areas for kids for age 1 to 12. Lawn areas for picnic, though we have to dump all waste into big bins. A cafeteria in present inside the premises, but is always crowded. Few small cold drink shacks are also present outside the Nandan Van alongside the adjacent petrol pump.

Entry Ticket is very nominal of Rs.20 per head. Easy to reach in GK1, near Moolchand Metro station.

Unpaid parking on road side for cars, opposite Nandan Van gate. Bikes are usually parked on footpath on both sides. But all at your own risk. Paid parking is 500 mtrs away in N Block Market of GK1.

Good and safe place for children. It has opened recently that's why all the swings and rides are new and fascinating. The colour full surroundings gives a pleasant as well as soothing effects. Kids are loving this park. Good initiative by government officials. A small cafeteria with limited eating options is also available. The entry tick is rupees 20 for adults as well for kids. The washroom area is not fully constructed yet. I think it may take some time. But one toilet is functional. If the officials are reading my comment then there is a suggestion that at least one toilet should be Indian instead of all western seat.
