The Planetarium is located on the first floor of the Science Centre. The planetarium has a shape of a sphere, 16.30 meters in diameter, the dome could also be used for extreme-wide-projections and other enhanced multi-media shows. It has a seating capacity of 140 the digital theatre of Planetarium facilitates the observation of planets, moon, stars, nebula, displayed on full dome through an advance technology and thus Astronomy Secrets will be shared with the students and general public. High resolution projectors operated through Digester 3 technology with digital audio system will provide a dazzling shows and that would be unforgettable experience. The shows will be in 3 languages Gujarati, Hindi and English.
Apart from Science Galleries, there are also Museum here... In India there are more than 600 museums, which includes departmental and University museums. Out of these museums, there are about 62 museums in Gujarat. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Museum, a pride possession of Surat Municipal Corporation, turned 126 on 1st February 2016. Museums are “Visual and living history” reflecting all facets of civilization. Very few in the modern society have realized and understood the concept of preservation and conservation of the heritage, which is a part of our history.

The Plaza Complex has a Amphi Theatre which is round in shape with stepped seating capacity of 250. This is an ideal place to organize small scale Cultural activities like classical Dance or vocal concert, Rock Amphi Theatre band, Street play lectures etc.
The Diamond Gallery is located on the second floor of the Science Centre. It showcases the complete life cycle of a diamond from mining up to polishing; via eight high tech audio-visual rooms and supporting graphic panels. The fun character of “Hira Kaka” makes the show more interesting to watch. Various models related to Diamond’s mining, cutting, polishing etc. helps us to understand the whole process of making of polished diamonds from rough Diamond. The Diamond Gallery shows the role of India and especially Surat in the field of Diamond Industry world wide. Every 9 out of 10 diamonds we get to see in the plush stores in the big cities all over the world is cut and polished in India and 75% of all these diamonds owe their sheen to Surat Diamond Industry.
The Fun Science Gallery is located on the first floor of the Science Centre. It showcases the Scientific Principles with fun. There are more than 50 exhibits displayed in this Gallery which are based on different principles of Science like Newton’s laws, Barnolie’s Principle, Principles of optics, Electromagnetic Induction, etc.
Science Centre forms the main part of the entire complex; it displays thematic galleries in the field of Science and Technology. The ground floor of Science Centre showcases 3D Theater, first floor of Science Centre showcases Fun Science Exhibits and second floor of Science Centre showcases Diamond Gallery where as Entering into Space, Textile gallery, Power of Play, Cosmos Gallery and Polar Science Gallery are under development.

One of the things I love most about the Surat Science Center is that it's so hands-on. There are many interactive exhibits that allow visitors to experiment and learn for themselves. For example, there's an exhibit that shows how electricity works, and another exhibit that shows how water cycles.

There are also a number of interactive exhibits, such as a microscope where visitors can examine real specimens. The Space Exploration Gallery: This gallery has exhibits on a variety of space exploration topics, such as the planets, the solar system, and the Milky Way galaxy. There are also a number of interactive exhibits, such as a flight simulator and a planetarium.
Overall, I highly recommend the Surat Science Center to students of all ages. It's a great place to learn about science and technology in a fun and interactive way.

Besides the Science Centre, the large complex also has an art gallery, a planetarium, an amphi-theatre, a museum and an auditorium. This complex is a distinct establishment in whole of the Western India and offers a wonderful meeting ground for students, scholars and teachers of science, technology and history. There is a solar power plant on the roof of the complex which produces about 1.14 KW of power. Inside the complex there are:
Science Centre – It is a primary attraction and forms a major part of the whole complex. Ground floor welcomes the visitor with an exciting 3D theatre, first floor presents science and technology in an amusing way through fun science exhibits while the second floor displays diamond gallery. Other galleries with themes such as space, power of play, polar science, textile and cosmos will also be developed in the coming times.

2.Sardar Patel Museum – Museums have a great cultural value as it seeks to preserve the history and offers objects for studying the past of any society or civilization. Sardar Patel Museum takes care of the historical heritage of Surat and is the best place for anyone interested in Surat’s rich past. The museum has shifted its location a couple of times owing to space constraints and/or vulnerability to floods. Its current address is the complex of Science Centre. Sardar Patel Museum was originally built in 1890 and was called the Winchester Museum after the name of its creator. There is a vast variety of articles ranging from stuffed specimens of animal and birds, glassware, old books, traditional textiles, porcelain, metal ware, conches, minerals and precious stones to wood carvings, paintings and sculptures.
Planetarium - The sphere-shaped planetarium has a diameter of 16.30 metres and can accommodate 140 people. There is a dome on the ceiling where the projections are made and a better observation of moon, planets, nebula and stars can be made. Based on state-of-the-art technology, the digital theatre is a very interesting place for the children and other curious minds seeking answers to the mysteries of nature.
Amphi-theatre - There is a round-shaped amphi-theatre with seating capacity of about 250 to give a platform to small concerts or cultural programs. It is an open air theatre and has stepped seating.
Auditorium - At the mezzanine floor of the main building there is an auditorium, with seating capacity of 260, for the purpose of lectures, meetings and seminars.
Art Gallery - Right opposite the museum stands the art gallery which is used for organising art exhibitions.
