Meghavi Wellness Spa — Attraction in Hyderabad

Meghavi happens to be one of my favourite spa places, so much so that no matter where in the world I travel I look forward to coming home and treating myself to a massage at Meghavi. I've always tried my best to let go of minor shortcomings given that most of their therapists are very well trained and extraordinarily good. But I'm unfortunately having to write this review because of a nightmarish experience I had at the place yesterday. They put me in a road facing room on the ground floor for my session yesterday - there was this stone cutting/drilling work going on right outside the building so loud that with the open windows it felt like they were drilling right into my head. Now while I understand they can't control what happens outside, the least they could have done was to move me to a different room, a request for which I made and was denied. Very rarely do you step out of a massage with a throbbing headache and that was my experience yesterday. I had my fingers plugged into my ears all through and couldn't wait for the session to be over so I could leave. One other very annoying thing that I've complained about multiple times in the past few years and am having to put in writing this time is that the therapists while they're excellent at their job, don't have much sense of respect for privacy. There is constant knocking at the door while the massage is in progress from people who want something or want to give something. Not understanding the very simple DND concept (about which we've complained multiple times) is the reason my husband has completely stopped visiting the place. And so to add to my unpleasant experience , there was this knocking at the door again yesterday obviously distracting both me and my therapist. Absolutely Disappointed – Not Worth the Price!!!

I had a thoroughly disappointing experience at Meghavi Wellness Spa. From start to finish, everything about the visit fell far below the standards one would expect , especially considering they charge 5-star hotel prices. The massage room was poorly maintained and lacked the serene, clean ambiance a wellness spa should offer. Basic amenities were subpar, and the space felt anything but luxurious or relaxing. To make matters worse, the therapist was completely unprofessional when it came to time management. I had booked a 2-hour session, but was charged for 2.5 hours . When questioned they had no clue what services were provided and solely relied on the therapist without having an open conversation about it. Even more frustrating, she had not set up the room properly in advance. In the middle of the session, she left to get the steam ready, which wasted nearly 20 minutes and completely disrupted the flow of the massage.

This is not how a premium spa should operate. If you’re looking for a relaxing, well-managed experience, you’re far better off booking with a reputable 5-star hotel spa where the service and ambiance actually reflect the price. $100 absolutely not worth it . Never going back. Save your time and...
