Pros of the Venue (Quake Arena) Impressive Visuals and Atmosphere: • The lighting effects and visual elements in the arena were incredible, creating a vibrant and immersive experience. Spacious Layout: • The venue had multiple sections (VIP, general, and balconies), offering varied vantage points for the audience. Smooth Entry Process: • Redeeming tickets and entering the facility was efficient, with minimal delays or confusion. Acoustics: • The sound system delivered powerful music, enhancing the overall concert vibe (despite minor EQ issues during the performance). Seating Options: • The availability of indoor and terrace seating provided flexibility for attendees to choose their preferred spots.
Cons Specific to the Venue Traffic Management: • The road leading to the venue was chaotic, with two of the three lanes blocked by vehicles trying to enter. This created unnecessary congestion before attendees even reached the venue. Overcrowded VIP Section: • By 9 PM, the VIP area became extremely crowded, making it nearly impossible to move around without physically pushing through people. Washroom Issues: • The VIP washrooms were poorly maintained: • Insufficient urinals, one of which was blocked by a broomstick. • Very poor lighting, making the washrooms dark and inconvenient to use. • The general section toilets were worse: • Only 2–3 urinals for a large crowd, with long queues of six people or more waiting at any given time. Network and Connectivity Problems: • Mobile network signals were almost nonexistent, making it impossible to make calls, use WhatsApp, or access the internet. This lack of connectivity severely impacted communication and coordination among friends. Payment Infrastructure: • At the bar counter: • UPI payments weren’t working due to Quake Arena bank account issues. • Card machines were also non-functional due to internet problems. • Wi-Fi wasn’t available, leaving attendees unable to pay unless they had cash. • This caused continuous frustration for attendees trying to buy drinks.
Cons Specific to the Ben Böhmer Concert Significant Delay in Start Time: • Ben Böhmer, scheduled to start at 9 PM, only began performing at 10:30 PM. This 1.5-hour delay was disrespectful to the audience’s time and commitments, and no apology was offered by the artist or organizers. Mismatch in Music Style: • Leading up to Ben Böhmer’s set, the venue played high-BPM electronic music, sometimes bordering on psytrance. While the music and atmosphere were excellent, this created a jarring transition to Ben Böhmer’s introspective and melodic progressive house. A smoother build-up with similar genres would have enhanced the experience. Extended Performance Without Notice: • The concert was advertised to end at 11 PM, but Ben Böhmer performed until 12:30 AM. While this might seem like a bonus to some, it disrupted plans for attendees with prior commitments. Lack of Communication from Organizers: • There were no updates about the delayed start or changes to the schedule, leaving attendees guessing...

Pros:
Cons:
Third class management for entry to exit
they mention cover charges as 1000 and take 2000 (for one couple and a stag is same price which is redeemable) at entry or they deny. We were 2 couples and 1 stag and the staff wanted to charge us 10k for entry. If we do maths they will confuse and rush as others are coming. A strategy.
Initial DJ was okay and the main person came at 11pm and that fellow was pathetic. Whenever there would be right music to erupt with high steps, he would cut it down. No reason for entry fee for such pathetic music and sound system.
Food was stale. We ordered dry chicken and it has 60% coating and 40% chicken. Fish was smelling and tasting like an year ago storage. Prawns were ok. Pizza was bad, chicken and other kababs had heavy wet coating even after grilling Stale food. Food was not cooked thoroughly and quantity was very small with very high prices.
No designated area for smoking and entire place was smoke zone.
Important: They deliberately blocked the tables on someone name and if we wanted a. Table or a small stand to keep our food, we have to pay 32k. If you don't get a table, you have to hold drinks and food in hand. Surprisingly, the reservations are all false. It's a cheap strategy to make money.
No in-house or regular water. They have own water with price of 99 for 500ml.
They are mandatorily levying service charges. When enquired to lower it, they showed a note in menu thay they would anyway chare us. Once we told strictly to remove, the manager has come and showed the same note despite telling several times. They finally agreed to 5%. Above the Service charges the waiters wont leave you guys without taking tip.
Management is allowing girls to go to DJ place and take the photos with the DJ. Later we understood that it was planned to let girls go around DJ and do some non-sense things and make it a hype.
Over-all: Do not ruin your surprises or parties at...
Read moreWhere to start with Quake? I was here for an event at the opening, which was chaotic because of the sheer number of people who came to see the famous special guest. Food wasn't good that day, and management was disorganized. I ignored that initially because I attributed it to early adjustments. I was wrong.
Recently, I returned independently for a qawwali performance, and this is when I realized that Quake is simply an AWFUL place with some of the worst management I have seen. This was a major event with a large crowd coming in, and their lifts were not working. Everyone, including women in heels, were told to use the staircases for THREE FLOORS, all of which were pretty high, so required tons of stairs. Coupons for the food/beverage cover were given prior to entry, but there was NO organization for that either — just a couple of tables, and 3 people just randomly picking up phones with QR codes and giving away the coupons. I asked one staff about the coupons, and he said to "stay in line" — there was no line, only a throng of people. Generally, the staff and bouncers are polite, but what is the point of them being good if there is no management?
Sound on the top floor and the stage floor is absolutely awful. I couldn't make out any of the words or even instrument sounds of the artist on the 3rd floor. The AC was off and only came on about an hour after people had gathered — quite a dangerous thing in the heat of summer. I left early, and I asked for a manager before I left. Apparently, no manager was on site. On the day of a large event with a performer.
So, overall — Cheap and callous management of a grimy, sleazy, overpriced place with the only interesting thing being the giant screens. But, really, those are not worth making the trek to this horrible place. Find another spot.
Oh PS — parking is an ABSOLUTE nightmare, and their valets are useless and rude, only interested in watching who is exiting...
