I appreciated the thoughtful touch of the sticky note message from the restaurant accompanying the meal. However, as an honest food enthusiast, my feedback on the "Zafrani Egg Dum Biryani" is as follows:
Biryani Taste: 2.5/5 - The masala taste fell short, lacking the desired appeal. Mirchi Salan Taste: 3.5/5 - The consistent gravy thickness added to the overall experience, enhancing the biryani taste when mixed. Raitha Taste: 5/5 - The raitha impressed with its consistent thickness and delightful taste. Proper Biryani Proportion: I believe a great biryani should balance aroma, rice, masala taste, cooking of veggies/meat, salan taste, and raitha taste. Unfortunately, "Zafrani Egg Dum Biryani" lacked few key aspects like aroma and masala taste due to which it scored only 50% in biryani taste.
Attention to these aspects could elevate the restaurant's position in town.
And I will definitely try Chicken or Mutton Dum Biryani soon and will make ammendments to this review if my thoughts...
Read moreOne of the best biryani's I would say! Everything is just top notch. The flavours just burst in your mouth. You know what's the highlight is(actually many highlights) the chicken is so tender that just melts in your mouth. Usually we won't get that kind of tender pieces anywhere in whole Hyderabad! They are so good because they have taken care of every possible item like the gravy(which is so heavenly, I dare you tell me one place where u get this kind of gravy), raita(so damn tasty, you can just have it like that), packing(very professional), quantity & prices are really reasonable and worth trying, which you can't stop having it here after. I wish everyone should try this place and enjoy the flavours of briyani. Also, tried egg biryani which is also damn good. They just don't give boiled egg they fry it and also provide it which masala gravy in biryani. Eagerly waiting to try mutton and other biryanis available with them. It's a festival to all the biryani lovers...

I used to love this place for their Zafrani Dum Biryani, which was rich and flavorful. But my recent visits have been very disappointing. Back in August and September, I went three times, and every time they served food on dirty plates. I could see saalan stains or other dirt left on the plates. I hoped they would fix this, but even after a month, nothing changed.
The biryani, which was the only reason I kept going back, is no longer good. The Zafrani Dum Biryani is bland now, and their so-called special saalan tastes exactly like the one from Mehfil, with nothing unique about it.
Last night, my friends convinced me to try again, thinking it might have improved. It was the worst experience yet—dirty plates again, bad biryani, bad starters, and bad service.
I don’t recommend this place anymore, and I won’t...
