The place is not maintained well- dirty enclosures, falling dolls, flickering lights, etc. Some of the dolls doesn't have the right traditional dress and some have the wrong labeling of regions. Moreover the elderly man there was very mean.Even before we finished looking around (some 20mins) at noon,he started switching off the fan and lights.Anyways,we were done looking around,so I booked a cab which was luckily 1min away,it was hot outside and since there are two kids with me,we sat down in the chair kept in the middle of the hall. The man told us we cannot sit on the chairs and we should leave since we have already seen the dolls.I told him the museum is open till 4-5pm and anyways whose is the chairs kept for? He said it is for the staffs,I asked him where are the staffs,I can see only him and moreover they have an office with chairs inside and these chairs are for the visitors and I saw some visitors sitting on it when we arrived and it is wrong on his part to switch off the fan and lights when are still looking around. He said, the higher authority can see in the camera and theu tell him to ask visitors to leave as early as possible because the electricity bills comes very high.I was shocked to hear this.It is so unprofessional on their part to behave like this, especially Infront of the children. If the electricity bill is coming up high then they can increase the price of the ticket and not chase away visitors rudely. Not recommended and never going back again. After coming out from there I got to learn that it is an institute for deaf children, what an irony because I had been looking for a place to volunteer.I would have loved to visit the kids and even donate but this incident made me very uncomfortable and I wonder how the kids are treated in...
